It seem’s that the sharp drums and melodic samples from Chicago’s Footwork scene are going to get pretty big this year and Glasgow label Fortified Audio have just released the debut solo ‘Footwork‘ EP from Jamie Grind. The four tunes on the release approach the genre from a more House, 2 Step and Garage perspective and include a nice collaboration ‘Saw The Light‘ with fellow Leeds producer Hackman who we recently featured – a remix of which is available at Sonic Router – and here’s a stream of the excellent ‘Without You’.
