Los Angeles producer TAKE otherwise known as Tom Wilson once explained his approach to making music as ‘life is a complicated beautiful mess, I suppose I try to embody that somehow in my music’ and last years ‘Only Mountain‘ long player proved to be something of a stand out release from the city’s beat scene that has since become a little congested. It’s now the subject of a remix release handily titled ‘Only Mountain : The Remixes‘ that’s out through Alpha Pup on Monday and features no less than sixteen ‘fresh reflips’ from artists such as Tokimonsta, Alex B, Om Unit, Shigeto, Mono-Poly and Free The Robots.
