London label Reggae Roast Records recently released the ‘Righteous‘ EP that ‘uniquely meanders between four sub-genres of roots reggae, giving traditional Caribbean practices a distinctly modern UK reworking’. The original from the Evergreen, Landlord & Ruckspin production team features some gritty vocals from Danman over a hard hitting steppers rhythm and there’s a dubstep remix from Bristol producer Rob Smith in his RSD guise, a minimal Dubwise version by Nucleus Roots, and this Dub Techno mix from Dark Arx.
