You’ve probably heard of Sri Lankan born London audio-visual artist Suren Seneviratne’s distinctive production alias My Panda Shall Fly and his ‘Sorry I Took So Long’ EP has just dropped on Dam Mantle’s new Growing Records imprint to some well placed acclaim. The three inventive and nicely measured originals have been desribed as ‘oddly smooth, beat centric electronic productions’ or if you prefer ‘sun kissed Tibetan crunk meets Nu-Wave disco beat’ and the addition of some fine remixes from Throwing Snow, Nightwave and Dam Mantle make for a pretty essential release that’s worth further investigation.[via]
