The latest release from Manchester based Hoya:Hoya features all the tracks from the fledgling label’s three part series of split twelve inch releases, that were put out over the last year and a half or so, bundled together in a handy digital only package entitled ‘Phase 1’. The compilation is, in their own words ‘for those who missed some, for those who didn’t, for those who swerved them, for whoever’ and showcases the label’s immediate and extended family ahead of future releases. This slice of sun-drenched boogie ‘Persuaded Me’ by Krystal Klear featured on Volume One alongside contributions from fellow club-night residents Illum Sphere and Lone, while successive volumes featured music from Eliphino, Lorn, Ras G, Ikonika, Om Unit and Monky.
