After last year’s debut ‘Super Basement’ EP, Toronto beatmaker Jesse Futerman is back with another free release courtesy of Jus Like Music that keeps with the distinctive jazz-breaks sound of it’s predecessor, while at the same time moving along by bringing in samples from further afield including film soundtracks. ‘Fuse The Witches’ is available to download from the artist’s bandcamp page, and of the seven tracks that make up the release he says ‘I think I’ve managed to retain a strong jazzy sound while perhaps creating a more cohesive release overall.’ Guest appearances come from fellow Toronto based music makers Mikhail Galkin aka DJ Alibi, as well as Milo Reinhardt from sibian & faun, and the languid ‘Dawn Yawn’ is included.
