Following on from releases by artists such as Kelpe, 1000names and Nightwave, the latest from forward thinking London based label Svetlana Industries comes in the form of the ‘Hadal Lagoon’ EP from South Coast producer Microburst, who combines distant vocals and complex harmonies with thick basslines and rolling rhythms over six tracks. Described as ‘carefully balanced and intricately detailed’, current favourites include the low end, hip hop flavour of ‘Statues Glare’ and the more uptempo ‘Life In Angles’, and while lead track ‘Clutch’ has been made available for free download, the full digital release is currently streaming here.
