Fresh from his recent spilt release with Phase One on Lefse, St Louis based Ian Jones aka Parisian has the new four track ‘Dual Kim’ EP out on London label Push & Run. The subject matter of the release is lifted from blog postings of the eponymous twenty year old South Korean model before her suicide, and while this might not exactly be the most uplifting unique selling point, it certainly fits the music comfortably, which Jones has previously described in terms such as ‘electronic, emotional, dark’ and ‘melancholic, nostalgic’. The EP is currently streaming here and previous release ‘Those Emotions Ran High’ is available for free download.
