Down The Line

Following three EP releases and a nice mix for Electronic Explorations we’re still no nearer to figuring out who downliners sekt are and where they’re coming from, but the name apparently comes from a modification of the Roy Orbison song ‘Down The Line’ and has something to do with Portbou train station at the French-Spanish border. This new track that recently premiered on Futureproofing expands on previous material but still retains the lurching, bass heavy grooves and strong sense of claustrophobic tension, only this time it’s tempered with some acoustic guitar licks and occasional vocals.
