James Fox Mix

The music made by South London based producer James Fox joins the dots between bass-driven house music, broken UK flavours and soulful Motor City influences, and he recently delivered the latest installment for the new Controller mix series which is billed as ‘a journey through the deeper echelons of bass tinged house’. It’s an engaging selection that features some nice material from artists such as Behling & Simpson, Shonky, Andreas Saag, and Genius Of Time, as well as his own remix of ‘What Matters’ by Hackman & Bluto which is out on Deadplate in the new year.
