Iradelphic Touch

Berlin based Chris Clark or just Clark follows up the ‘Totems Flare’ album from three years ago with a new long player ‘Iradelphic’ in April on Warp, which was recorded in numerous locations around the world using a diverse range of tools ranging from vintage cold war-era microphones, modern studio set ups, crumbling cassettes, laptop microphones and dictaphones. Referring to the release as ‘looming, ambiguous, radiant’, he says making it felt like a massive test in terms of transforming all the disparate instumentation and resulting shifts in mood into something with a unified, homogenous whole. A first listen is available throught the track ‘Com Touch’ which is available as a free download here.
