Chances are, if you read any online media about underground electronic music, you will have encountered some nice photography work courtesy of Ashes57. aka London-based, Canadian artist Delphine Ettinger. As well as providing the artwork side of things for bass heavy label Swamp 81, she also recently put out the excellent Street Treasures ebook that showcases worldwide street art photographed between 2006 and 2009. Featuring illustrations by Delphine Ettinger and Adam Michael Dean, it’s definitely worth getting hold of if you missed it on it’s release back in December. Furthermore, the first in a series of four exhibitions starts this Saturday in Brooklyn in association with IDLE (tickets are here) and features DJ sets from Old Apparatus and Deep Medi signing Commodo, plus a live performance from rising Civil Music talent Darling Farah.
