Trying For Home

Much has been said of the finely crafted ‘Home’ album on Innovative Leisure by Los Angeles electronic artist Jason Chung aka Nosaj Thing that saw, in the three year period since it’s predecessor ‘Drift’, a development of the wide screen cinemascapes he’s become associated with. Chung himself has described the release in terms such as ‘more moody’ and ‘even more personal than before’ with one of the arguable highlights being the ‘Try’ collaboration with Toro Y Moi. On March 14th he’s bringing the beats (alongside Mono/Poly and Free The Robots) to a new event at Village Underground in London that’s being put on by Earnest Endeavours and Black Atlantic with the idea being ‘to fully showcase new and inspiring music and art throughout the night’.
