More Drum Talking


The third and final installment of a series of EP’s for One-Handed Music by South London experimentalist Mo Kolours has just been released, and ‘Tusk Dance’ has been described as ‘the most introspective collection so far’, Other-wordly beats that stretch the rhythms of soul, dnb, hip hop and the sega music of his Mauritius homeland are the order of the day, and while the vinyl pre-order is already sold out, over at bandcamp the digital version is currently being offered for free, which includes this remix from Sara Creative Partners and Erykah Badu producer Shafiq Husayn. Additionally, Mo Kolours recently did a stripped down version of ‘Keep It Up’ from the second EP in the trilogy ‘Banana Wine’ for the latest Brownswood Basement Session.
