Old Tape Machine

North East producer Nick Cooke, also known as Cuttooth, is set for a busy year with a couple of forthcoming releases. There’s a five track EP titled ‘Dream In Colour’ featuring Juice Aleem, that’s due out on Belgian hip hop label Plynt Records, followed by a full length album of more chilled downtempo beats via Gert-Jan Bijl’s 4luxWhite imprint, which has previously put out music from Olivier Daysoul and Daru. The release will feature a handful of tracks with vocalists Sarah Linhares and Bridie Jackson, plus a couple with London based Kiki Hitomi, who you’ll probably know from her work with Kevin Martin’s twisted dub project King Midas Sound.

  1. Cheers for the write-up. There’s actually 2 on the LP with Kiki though 😉
