Quiet Lights

Tonight on this planet we call home there will be a lunar eclipse, something that only happens every six lunar months when the Moon is directly opposite Earth in relation to the Sun. And while it’s significance is probably lost in the flurry of today’s busy lifestyles, this astronomic event was keenly felt by our predecessors within ancient civilizations. To mark the occasion, Berlin based Project Mooncircle has selected some exclusive and unreleased material from label artists for the appropriately titled Σclipse compilation, and made the digital download available for free. While this term itself might put some people off due to the increasing abundance of sub-standard releases being given away, the label has something of a pedigree when it comes to things like this, so if you fancy some celestial beats from the likes of Submerse, Daisuke Tanabe, Sieren and KRTS, the download is available direct from the label, along with a limited edition cassette tape version.
