Following the two ‘Skylight Remixes’ packages on Seattle based Hush Hush Records, the label run by KEXP DJ Alex Ruder has just put out the ‘Under’ EP from North Carolina producer Alex Cooper, otherwise known as Placeholder. He previously released a four-track EP titled ‘Brothers’ via UK imprint Space Hardware early last year, and the four new originals on offer here continue the previously explored deep, bass-heavy, late night themes. Described by the label as ‘muted, calm and introspective’, the four tracks and a remix courtesy of Wanda Group that make up the EP, are all available for download here on a name your price basis.
