London based label Don’t Be Afraid launched the Don’t Be Afraid Dubs offshoot with the track ‘Profumo’ from Claws For? and the series returns with something from Kel McKeown, otherwise known as Kelpe. Sticking to the traditional dubplate cut premise of the series that aims to feature a house dub from a UK producer, with a techno flavoured remix from over the pond, number two ‘Monte Verità’ see’s Kelpe move slightly away from the music of his recent ‘Fourth:The Golden Eagle’ album into some low-slung, analogue dancefloor territory. The remix comes courtesy of Detroit based Kevin Reynolds, and the ten inch vinyl will be out on August 19th.
