Home Recording

You will probably no doubt be familiar with the ‘Cold Spring Fault Less Youth’ album by Mount Kimbie on Warp Records and arguable highlight ‘Home Recording’ has now got a very evocative companion courtesy of director Anthony Dickenson. Managing to be both stark and warm at the same time, a rich tapestry of images mix bare winter tree’s and moody lighting with with clean glass lines and bleak concrete, a technique which one half of the duo Kai Campos says created ‘something that was bigger than the locations it was shot in…a multi-dimensional landscape with no direct reference to a specific place – more a familiar but fictional reality.’
