Visions Of Infinity

It’s been well documented that the concept behind the forthcoming ‘Vapor City’ album from Berlin resident Travis Stewart aka Machinedrum is essentially a tour through and imagined, dystopian urbanization, with each track exploring a separate district of the world. As far as the music goes, it’s a logical and very adept progression from Stewart’s previous forays into heavily textured footwork, jungle and fractured breakbeat rhythms with, a heavy emphasis on atmosphere. The physical release comes with some beautiful artwork courtesy of Dominic Flannigan and Eclair Fifi from LuckyMe, and ahead of the album’s release at the end of the month, the producer gave an in-depth interview to The Quietus. Here, Institute For Eyes have provided the visuals for an album track representing the Gunshotta Avenue district, that will also see an EP release in October featuring a couple of big remixes from Fracture and AMIT.
