Renaissance Of Tomorrow

The second volume of the ‘Savage Planet Discotheque’ series by Computer Jay, which is out now on Pugilista Trading Company, has been described variously as ‘beautiful and passionate’ and ‘sinister but funky…the ideal soundtrack for a Halloween party on the planet Hoth’. The Los Angeles beat maker himself says that the series ‘is supposed to be a soundtrack to the music of tomorrow’, and after a previous video for ‘Hardships’ that was set in Joshua Tree and featured cameo’s from Daedelus and The Gaslamp Killer, a new video for ‘Binary Fix’ has emerged which is apparently ‘about our addictions to technology’ and includes a rapping robot dealing binary code. Go here for an excellent recent mix Jay did for THUMP if you missed it.
