Anatomy Of Gastronomy

It was recently announced that Ninja Tune will be putting out the new ‘Food’ album from Kelis, and after her last outing which saw a somewhat ill-advised collaboration with the unit-shifting musical void that is David Guetta, this time around the thirteen tracks that make up the release have been entirely produced by David Sitek from TV on The Radio. Described as ‘a soul record that’s as raw and alternative as it is classic’ and ‘a sound that’s rootsy without ever being self-consciously retro’, it’s slated for an April 21st release and the first taster ‘Jerk Ribs’, available for free download here, has got some remix treatment from Mount Kimbie.
