The Unified Field

Devovali Records is due to curate it’s annual London edition of the international music festival known as Denovali Swingfest in around two weeks time. Named as an homage to the Swing Kids who were active during the Nazi dictatorship in Germany, it’s focus on a wide range of experimental music never waivers and provides a great opportunity to experience label artists in a live setting. Taking place over two days at Village Underground and Café OTO, this year’s festival is integrated into part of the new East London music and technology event Convergence, and will feature blurry electronica, deep ambient soundtracks, drone and noise arrangements, dubby techno, neoclassical pieces and avant garde pop from artists such as The Haxan Cloak, Anna von Hausswolff, Ulrich Schnauss, Hidden Orchestra, Petrels, Piano Interrupted, and more. As usual, the label has compiled a free download sampler for this year’s event by way of an introduction to the invited artists who will be in attendance, and all the relevant information can be found here.
