Approaching The End

After a number of well received EP releases on Project Mooncircle, Rob Orme aka submerse, is due to put out his debut full length via the Berlin based label at the end of the month. Billed as ‘a collection of multi-layered memories, stacked like grainy polaroids in an old box in the closet or under the bed while the colours fade’, those familiar with his previous outings will be familiar with the low-slung, stuttery hip-hop beats and twinkling, blissful melodies, and whereas the previous EP’s reflected specific moments in Orme’s life, the album is heavily informed by recollections of times in the artists life such as days at the beach, the first day of school and travels through Europe and Japan. The twelve track collection will be available on limited double vinyl, digital and CD, plus a handmade, hand-painted cassette edition with artwork from Repeat Pattern.
