Pixels And Polygons

After putting out the ‘Internet Ghetto’ compilation on his own Hyperboloid Records, which features twenty tracks ranging from heavyweight downtempo to hyper-rhythmic bass, the next release from label boss Pixelord see’s him return to Infinite Machine for the ‘Polygon Fane’ EP. Described as ‘a testament to the internet and its unbounded nature, embedded within a smorgasbord of eccentric bass’, it’s out at the end of the month and features six original tracks which take in the brooding, rolling breakbeats of EP opener ‘Oasis’, the stabbing house music vibe of ‘Videobar’ and the warm introspection of the stuttering, juke-leaning title track. A confident release from a producer who continues to mature and develop his sound, it’s supported by remixes from Druid Cloak, labelmate Seafloor, Montreal’s Thomas White and Terrorhythm’s Curl Up.
