Collect And Converge

Convergence is about to return with a series of events across the capital featuring a host of visual art and music pioneers who utilise technology in diverse and innovative ways. Bringing together media, promoters and technologists, this year’s programme begins on March 12th with a live show from Clark at Village Underground, and will go on to include perfomances from artists such as Pantha Du Prince, Dark Star, Andy Stott, Shackleton, Snow Ghosts and Dorian Concept. Furthermore, Matthew Herbert and George Clinton will both be in attendance to discuss their work in relation to technology, plus a series of daytime workshop and discussion sessions will also launch at Kachette in Old Street exploring the future of the music industry and audio production, as well as innovation in multimedia, digital art, and live music visuals. In anticipation of all the forthcoming events, a free nineteen track compilation has been made available for download featuring music from those who will be taking part this year.
