After a number of EP releases on Black Acre the debut long player ‘Sunday’s Gift’ from London producer Kewsi Darko otherwise known as Blue Daisy is out this week. Featuring contributions from Heidi Vogel, Anneka, Stac and Hey! Zeus, the engrossingly original heavyweight brand of beats that pairs deeply textured, muddy synths and dirty drum tracks with moments of melodic beauty has been described as ‘like RZA and Angelo Badalamenti collaborating on the soundtrack to a lost David Lynch widescreen epic’.
