The ‘Chapters’ debut album by Japanese born, London based multi-instrumentalist and producer Masaaki Yoshida, otherwise known as Anchorsong, that was released at the end of last year on Tru Thoughts is described as ‘an addictive listen…reveals more with each play’ and second single ‘Darkrum’ is out on August 28th. Throwing Snow, whose inventive ‘Clamor’ EP has just been released through his own Snowfall label, provides one of the remixes, flipping the soulful Rhodes bounce of the original into a heady jungle-leaning workout, while Kidkanevil also chips in with another of his interesting beat-heavy interpretations.
