You’ll no doubt remember that last year Om Unit put out a couple of strictly limited edition ten inch vinyls; the first release took a couple of beatless originals to deeper dancefloor territory, and included a edit of ‘Vibes Is Right’ by Barrington Levy. The second that dropped at the end of the year switched attention to some classic European synth source material, and was was more concerned with some of the slowfast bass rhythms that the producer has become more known for through his output on Civil Music. Both releases are now available on a digital format from Cosmic Bridge, and look out for some inventive, spacey dubstep rhythms from Om Unit who has a remix included on the forthcoming ‘Reachout’ EP by Nphonix on Shifting Peaks.
