London label Pictures Music are about to release the new single ‘Focus Energy/Motive Order’ by UK producer James Welch also known as Seams on July 18th. It’s initially limited to a 300 copy vinyl pressing followed by a digital release, and the two techno orientated tracks that feature are labelled as being ‘driven by a desire to make audiences dance’ and have a ‘much more propulsive sound…both built from the same ingredients but taken in two very different directions’. You can pre-order the single at Bleep and there’s a free release party at The Lock Tavern in Camden on July 17th if you’re in the area.
