You might know Northern Irish based Kinnego that’s run by Barry Lynn, otherwise known as Boxcutter, as the label that put out the debut ‘Love Quadrant’ release from Space Dimension Controller almost a couple of years back, and it’s just returned with some very slinky and retro sounding neon funk boogie courtesy of Scottish producer Beaumont. Words used to describe the seven track ‘Blush Response’ EP include ‘wistful night-time headnodding grooves’ and ‘melodic chillwave textures with heavy sub-bass’ but we prefer ‘the authenctic soundtrack to a really cool z-series eighties thriller’.[via]
