Everything You Never Had

London singer songwriter Andreya Triana recently followed up her Bonobo produced ‘Lost Where I Belong’ debut album with the ‘Giants’ long player on Ninja Tune imprint Counter Records. After lending her vocals to the aforemtioned beat makers acclaimed ‘Black Sands’ album, and the more recent ‘Lustmore’ album by Lapalux, Triana’s own stand-alone sophomore release see’s her embrace upbeat summer soul through to warm downtempo anchored by strong story telling, for a collection which has been described as ‘bursting with refreshing honesty and a raw vulnerability’. Previous singles ‘Everything You Never Had Pt II’ and ‘Gold’ have already yielded a host of remixes from artists such as Lapalux, Kid Karma, Fort Romeau and Hackman, while this new nicely executed remix from Detroit producer and Ghostly affiliate Shigeto has recently emerged of an album track which takes the snappy original into some airy, ethereal territory.
