The Absolut Company have recently begun curating the Absolut Remix series of releases on the last Friday of each month with the intention of highlighting the importance of remixes within electronic music by offering the opportunity for artists to either remix a work of their choice, or to be remixed by artists they admire. The project which, in their own words is ‘dedicated to the art of combining or editing existing materials, to produce something new’, began with an Eduardo De La Calle reinterpretation of ‘Berth’ by BNJMN some months ago, and it’s most recent – the fifth in the series – see’s Brighton producer and Plant Mu alumni Ital Tek add some nice touches to something from the ‘PAUSE’ album by Indian Wells, which is out now on Bad Panda Records.
