Echoes Of A Dream

After scoring the music for Juno Mak’s film ‘Rigor Mortis’ which went to the top of the Chinese box office, electronic producer and songwriter Nate Connelly went on to release the album ‘Dream About Being Lost’ on Blind Colour. A quietly self-assured record which moved between modern electronic soul and groove-heavy ambient pieces, it’s set to be followed up by a sophomore effort titled ‘Di Skyver’ with the futurist-electro sheen of the just released ‘7842 Fire’ single indicating a more electronic direction for the artist. As with the previous single ‘You Echo’ which got the remix treatment from VVV (Fortified Audio) and Asa (Koan Sound), the new single see’s an interpretation courtesy of Brighton’s AOTOA, who has previously recorded under various names for the Tru Thoughts label, plus one from blog favourite Ross Tones in his guise as Throwing Snow.
